De kunst in het Erasmus MC is grotendeels zelfstandig te bekijken. Het ziekenhuis heeft zowel wederopbouwkunst uit het Dijkzigt als nieuwe kunstwerken.
Het Wederopbouwmuseum heeft meerder locaties in stad waar veel wederopbouwkunst te zien is. Ook geven we hier regelmatig rondleidingen.
De hoeveelheid beeldende kunst uit de wederopbouwperiode (1940-1970) is in Rotterdam ongekend groot. We leggen uit hoe dat komt.
In 1960 maakte kunstenaar Dick Elffers een groot kleurig keramisch reliëf voor Shell aan de Butaanweg in Hoogvliet. Toen het gebouw gesloopt werd is het werk verplaatst naar het stadskantoor aan de Kinheim.
